2 tbl butter or margerine
1/3 cup grated parm cheese
2 well beaten eggs
1 cup cottage cheese
1 lb ground beef or sausage
½ chopped onions
¼ chopped green pepper
1 8oz can tomatoes cut up
1 6 oz can tomato paste
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp dried oregano
½ tsp garlic salt
½ shredded mozzarella cheese
- Cook
spaghetti according to box instructions
- Drain
spaghetti – you should have about 3 cups of spaghetti
- Stir
in butter
- Stir
in parmesan cheese and eggs
- Form
spaghetti mixture into crust in buttered 10 inch pie plate
- Spread
cottage cheese over bottom of spaghetti crust
- Cook
meat, onions and green pepper in skillet until meat is brown and veggies
are done
- Strain
off excess fat
- Stir
in un-drained tomatoes, paste, garlic, oregano, salt, sugar
- Heat
through
- Turn
meat mixture into spaghetti crust
- Bake
uncovered 350o for 20 minutes
- Sprinkle
cheese on top and bake until cheese melts
